Of etui form, with cabochon ruby push-piece, enameled in translucent green over an engine-turned ground, within laurel-chased borders. Length 4 inches (10.2 cm).

Losses to enamel at one corner of base and near hinge; exterior of case around hinge has been re-enforced with added gold mount; surface scratches and wear to enamel in areas.
