Fabergé Silver-Gilt Guilloché and Champlevé Enamel Pill Box
Moscow, 1899-1908, scratched inventory number 25989
Oval, enameled in translucent lilac over an engine-turned ground, the hinged centering a cabochon moonstone, within a wreath simulating dendritic agate, the edge with a diamond-set thumb-piece and panels of opaque white enamel. Width 2 3/16 inches (5.6 cm).

Collection of Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 6th Marquess of Salisbury (1916-2003).

In good condition. Minor area of restoration to enamel on cover of box. Opaque white enamel on edge of box with cracks and very minor losses in areas.
