Oval, enameled in translucent lilac over an engine-turned ground, the hinged centering a cabochon moonstone, within a wreath simulating dendritic agate, the edge with a diamond-set thumb-piece and panels of opaque white enamel. Width 2 3/16 inches (5.6 cm).

In good condition. Minor area of restoration to enamel on cover of box. Opaque white enamel on edge of box with cracks and very minor losses in areas.
