Rare Fabergé Gold and Guilloché Enamel Button Loop
Workmaster August Hollming, St. Petersburg 1899-1904
The tapering cylindrical handle enameled in translucent white over an engine-turned ground, with moonstone finial, with a gold loop. Length 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm.).

A nearly identical button loop (identified as a spatula), which was presented to Queen Mary by the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, is held in The Royal Collection of Fabergé (RCIN 40115). See C. de Guitaut, Fabergé in The Royal Collection (London, 2003), no. 254 (part), illustrated p. 200.

In good condition, with light surface wear to enamel handle; the enamel otherwise in good condition (does not fluoresce under UV light).
