Inpainting Throughout the sky. The Sandy Hook is mostly spared these restorations. It appears that these spots of inpainting were to address a thinness to the paint layer or possibly losses. Two areas of repair near the center of the right edge each approximately 1 x 2 inches look to be repaired breaks in the canvas. The work is glue relined and has some craquelure.
