each piece appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition with the following noteworthy exceptions:

one dinner plate has a chip loss to its rim edge and has an accompanying large hairline crack originating at the rim

one dinner plate was previously broken into a few separate pieces and then non-professionaly (poorly) repaired

one dinner plate has a hairline crack that is visible when the plate is examined from the underside, extending from the rim edge through the central foot ring, approximately 3 1/4 inches in length

one of the three mugs/drinking cup with a braided handle has a small chip loss to the rim edge of a leaf on its body

one of the small tumblers has a chip loss to the rim edge of a leaf on its body

one of the footed bowls has multiple chip losses to the upper rim edge, including some that have been overpainted with green paint

one six-petaled serving dish/platter has a small chip loss to its rim edge

the stand/underplate that accompanies the small tureen with cover has a small chip loss to its rim on the underside

one of the large serving bowls (formed of seven upright leaves) has a small chip to the upper rim and another small chip to the underside of one of the curled leaf parts, not of any real significance

the stand/underplate that accompanies the large tureen with cover has approximately nine (9) very small scattered nicks to the rim edge, visible on the underside, not of any real consequence (the tureen and cover appear to be in generally good, undamaged condition)

one of the three circular plates with a straight rim (width 8 1/8 in.) has been non-professionally repaired at its rim edge (a shallow flake loss on the top side has been somewhat poorly reaffixed)

one small circular dish with an upturned rim (diam. 3 7/8 in.) has approximately two rim chips, not of great consequence

one small circular dish with an upturned rim (diam. 4 in.) has a small rim chip

one of the two toothpick holders has a very small rim chip visible on the underside of its upper rim edge; this same piece has a small nick/chip to its rim edge on one of its three upright leaves, not of great consequence

two of the four candle holders each have a few scattered small rim chips to their edges

Highlighting the auction was an extensive collection of 80 pieces of Dodie Thayer’s iconic ceramic lettuce ware that achieved $32,000, surpassing its $20,000-30,000 estimate. For decades, Thayer’s whimsical, handcrafted lettuce ware has epitomized Palm Beach style, attracting such devoted admirers as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, C.Z. Guest, Bunny Mellon and Brooke Astor. This remarkable collection was from the Estate of Lois Wideman of Palm Beach, whose distinguished career spanned modeling with the Ford Agency in New York to interior design with the celebrated Palm Beach firms Jessup, Inc. and Kemble Interiors.
