Auction: Fine Jewelry & Luxury Handbags, Jun 25, 2025
NEW YORK, NY -- Competive bidding drove strong prices at Doyle's June 25, 2025 auction of Fine Jewelry & Luxury Handbags, sending the sale total far over expectations. Hundreds of bidders vied for an array of sparkling diamond and colored stone rings, as well as stylish jewelry by Bulgari, Cartier, Chaumet, Marina B, Oscar Heyman and Tiffany & Co.; fine watches by Rolex, Jaeger LeCoultre and Piaget; and luxury handbags by Chanel, Goyard and Hermès. Exciting opportunities abound for seasoned buyers and new collectors alike in this popular sale category!
Highlights of the June 25 sale featured an elegant Colombian emerald and diamond ring that soared past its estimate to achieve an impressive $51,200. The ring drew significant interest for its desirable color and the fact that the stone had undergone only Minor Traditional Clarity enhancement. Also noteworthy was a collection of diamond rings from the Estate of a New York Lady, all of which performed exceptionally well. Leading the group was a 6.54 carat diamond ring, K color, SI1 clarity, that achieved $51,200, far over its $25,000-35,000 estimate.
