Glue lined. Frame rubbing. Could use a light cleaning. Edges with paper tape. Scattered light craquelure, mainly visible in the sails. Impasto crushed somewhat from the lining. Thin in areas, may be original to the painting or from a prior cleaning. Many of the artist's original pigments fluoresce naturally under UV light, hindering the detection of restoration. However, there is a 1cm area of repair at the top right center edge and an area in the upper right quadrant of scattered inpainting. Several inch area of damage (repaired) in the upper center.
