Highlighting the sale was a drawing in pencil and crayon, Study for the Blue Robe, by Will Barnett (1911-1962) that soared past its $2,000-3,000 estimate to achieve $18,900. With a career spanning over eight decades, Will Barnet focused on representational work with clean, flattened graphics often depicting serene, enigmatic scenes.
