This seminal collection of contemporary artists includes the following works: George Brecht, Untitled; Allan D'Arcangelo, American Madonna; Jim Dine, Corner Brace; Stephen Durkee, Untitled; Lette Eisenhauer, Untitled; Stanley Fisher, Untitled; Sam Goodman, Untitled; Red Grooms, Untitled; Robert Indiana, Err; Allan Kaprow, Untitled; Roy Lichtenstein, Untitled, 1962 [On switch]; Boris Lurie, Untitled; Claes Oldenburg, Untitled; James Rosenquist, Certificate; George Segal, Untitled; Richard Stankiewicz, Untitled; Wayne Thiebaud, Untitled; Andy Warhol, Untitled [signed with blindstamp]; Robert Watts, Untitled; and Robert Whitman, Untitled. All are numbered e.a. (i.e. edition d'artiste); a few bear dates as early as 1962 or 1963.
The work is rarely found complete as here; indeed, it was designed to be easily taken apart. The Warhol print is the artist's only etching and is Feldman/Schellmann II.1. The Roy Lichtenstein work is the artist's first commissioned print and is also his first Pop print, and is Corlett 32.
