each piece in the service appears to be in generally good, undamaged, with the following noteworthy condition issues:

some dinner platers have some scattered paint flake losses, notably, to their borders, not of great consequence

typical wear/rubbing/loss to gilding, notably along some of the rim edges, commensurate with age and handling

there is a rim chip loss to the upper rim edge of the bowl part of the two-handled tureen

1 rice bowl cover has a shallow chip loss to its rim edge

1 rice bowl cover has approximately three rim chips

1 rice bowl cover has a very small nick to its rim

3 rice bowl covers have large shallow flake/chip losses near their rim edges

2 luncheon plates have large chip losses to their border/rim edges (at least one plate should be discarded)

1 luncheon plate has a rim chip to its underside

1 luncheon plate has a small rim chip

approximately 2 luncheon plates have extreme losses to their gilding at the center part of the plates and borders

3 espresso cups have rim chips

1 espresso saucer has two large rim chips

1 espresso saucer has a small chip loss to its foot (on the underside)
