Henry II, King of Navarre (1503-1555), was the son of John II of Navarre, who died when Henry was only 15 years old. Much of his reign was a struggle to hold the throne of Navarre against the rival claims of Ferdinand II of Aragon and Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire.

Scattered touches of restoration to the face, especially around the jaw and chin. A few touches on the beige shirt; some shadows reinforced.
