Havana Living Today

New York, NY -- Join us on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 6:30pm for a slide presentation and book signing reception with Hermes Mallea as we explore the vibrant interiors profiled in his latest book, Havana Living Today: Cuban Home Style Now (Rizzoli). The author of Great Houses of Havana and Escape: The Heyday of Caribbean Glamour now presents a vision of Havana that international visitors have rarely seen. These exciting and innovative interiors created in recent years blend the tropical elegance, artistic sophistication and eclectic mélange of one of the world’s most fascinating cities.

Hermes Mallea is an architect and a partner in M(Group), a design firm based in New York. He studied at the University of Miami’s School of Architecture and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Historic Preservation and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.

The event will take place at Doyle, 175 East 87th Street. It is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
