Mollie Brewster Broussard is lovingly remembered as a mentor to many lawyers, doctors, professors, politicians and authors, having taught Speech and coached students for public speaking competitions in Oklahoma and Texas before moving to New York City in 1962 to teach at Hunter College. In 1968, she married Thomas R. Broussard and moved to Los Angeles, where he served as General Counsel for Technicolor. They returned to New York, furnishing their elegant Park Avenue apartment with art and antiques in the style of the Ancien Régime. The couple shared a love of French cuisine, culture and fashion, traveling to France for several months each year to add to their growing collections and to acquire luxurious fabrics for her Beverly Hills couturier.

Highlights include signature designs by David Webb, as well as an array of jewelry and luxury accessories by such prestigious makers as Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Chanel and Hermès.
