NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle’s semiannual auctions of California Jewelry attract hundreds of bidders vying for exquisite designs consigned from prominent private collections and estates. The range of offerings includes stylish jewelry for garden lunches to glittering statement pieces perfect for the red carpet. The upcoming auction on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10am EDT in New York will be preceded by previews in Beverly Hills, CA on Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, April 26, and in New York, NY on Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5.

An Edwardian diamond tiara from the Estate of Helen Hartley can be worn to a royal state dinner, then transformed into five brooches or an elegant necklace for less formal occasions (est. $30,000-50,000). Raymond Yard’s whimsical and rare Art Deco rabbit brooch is certain to keep any party lively (est. $25,000-35,000). A necklace of natural pearls has always set the standard for elegance and luxury, epitomized by this classic necklace of graduated pearls ranging from 10.08 to 4.53mm, from a Private Monarch Beach, California Collector (est. $50,000-70,000). Spring can be yours all year round with an antique butterfly brooch from the Collection of an Early California Pioneering Land and Cattle Family (est. $4,000-6,000).
