Cambridge, Massachusetts: Privately Printed, 1935. First edition, presentation copy. Original pale blue printed wrappers. 9 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches; [8] pp.; signed presentation slip laid in. Pale staining to lower corner of wrappers with light edgewear, minor occasional foxing.
Cover title: "F. W. K." With autograph presentation slip signed: "Compliments of John C. Phillips", with his address printed at the top of the card, and an additional inscription to the front free endpaper "E. G. H. from J. P. Xmas 1935". Phillips was an American hunter, zoologist, ornithologist, and environmentalist. This pamphlet was privately printed on the occasion of Frank Killam's death, with remembrances of hunting after grouse and partridge. Rare; only one copy listed in WorldCat, and only one auction record traced: sold in a group lot of three pamphlets for $4,620 in 2007.
