The bombé ribbons highlighted by one pear-shaped sapphire approximately 3.05 cts., accented by 55 round diamonds approximately 13.75 cts., the ribbons pavé-set with 21 round diamonds approximately 1.90 cts., embellished by tapered curved bands of 28 rectangular step-cut and 6 tapered baguette sapphires approximately 14.00 cts., signed Cartier, Paris, no. 010814, with maker's mark and French assay mark, approximately 29.2 dwts.

With AGL report no. 1094911 stating that the pear-shaped sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.

Pear-shaped sapphire: deep vivid rich blue, saturated color, crosshatch of silk in table, not visible to eye, otherwise cleanish, minor table edge abrasions and small chip on table edge, minor scratch on crown facet, nice shape and cut, lively. With AGL report, Burma (Myanmar) origin, no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.

Diamonds: G-H-I-mostly VS, several SI, one chip under a prong.

Sapphires: deep vivid slightly violetish royal blue, overall well-matched, clean to slightly included, minor color zoning, nice cuts, lively.

Well-made. 2 x 1 1/2 inches.
