Binding slightly soiled and rubbed, slight abrasion to title and a pinhole at lower corner to title and first leaf, neat collector blindstamp of Joseph A. Sadony to head of title.
"Wroe, the publisher, invited Blomfield on this trip, and was probably host. Sketches of the participants are in the book, the text is in the form of a log kept by Blomfield, Rare" (Bruns). Bromfield was an English artist living in Chicago at the time of this expedition. Bruns B-180; Streeter 4129.
