Fabergé Silver Icon of St. Nina
Workmaster Hjalmar Armfelt, St. Petersburg, circa 1911
Oval, depicting the saint half-length, within a frame cast with foliage and geometric motifs, the reverse of the icon signed V. Gorbunov and dated 1911, the wood back mounted with the Cyrillic letters KhV. 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches (8.25 x 5.7 cm).

The silver frame in good condition, with light surface scratches and minor bruises. The icon with craquelure and paint losses throughout, as visible in the catalogue photo. The reverse of the icon is signed and dated (see photos).
