Chinese Red and White Glazed Porcelain Bowl
18th Century
The deep sided form raised on a low foot rim, painted and incised on the exterior with two slender dragons striding over crashing waves above a mountain top border at the foot, the interior with a further two dragons at the base within two red line bands at the foot and the rim, base with a six-character Xuande mark in underglaze blue within a double blue circle. Diameter 8 1/4 inches.

Hairline crack extending from the rim down to the base visible on interior and exterior, numerous rim chips, a few scattered chips to the foot rim, star crack over the mark, interior base with a central glaze gap
