Chinese Huanghuali Yokeback Armchair
17th century or later
The cylindrical crestrail above an S-curve splat carved with a vase containing a prunus and a small jar below a chilong medallion, the scrolled arms above a caned seat supported by an apron with three open rectangular panels, the legs supported by low stretchers. Height 42 inches, width 22 inches, depth 16 1/2 inches.

whole chair appears to have been taken apart at some point and reglued, seat later and with hole on lower left corner, supports under the seat look later, wear and loss to base of feet, apron under foot rest is later, back splat with shrinkage
