Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dishes
Late Ming Dynasty, circa 1625
Each decorated in the center with a prunus tree beneath a small crescent moon, below a band of Tibetan characters on the everted rim, which is decorated on the underside with a band of classic scroll above a frieze of floral meander on the shallow rounded sides, an apocryphal Xuande mark in on the base.
