[CHINA-PHOTOGRAPHY] Group of nine photographs of Shanghai, and two unrelated images
, all circa 1880. Albumen prints on card mounts (probably extracted from an album), the largest approximately 8 1/2 x 11 inches (210 x 280 mm), the nine of Shanghai mounts uniformly 11 x 14 inches (280 x 660 mm).
The images of Shanghai are primarily of the Bund (the French, English and American settlements) including views of the wharves, gardens, promenades etc. The two unrelated images are of a restaurant and a Chinese wedding procession.
