We are grateful to Claire Lebeau for confirming the authenticity of this work, which will be included in the forthcoming supplement to the Robaut Catalogue Raisonne. It is probably related to a Corot work in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Robaut 1728, entitled Passeur atterrissant avec deux paysannes dans sa barque.
This work is accompanied by a photo-certificate in color from Martin Dieterle and Claire Lebeau dated Paris October 23, 2017, in which they state that the painting will be included in the supplement.
