Each stepped top rail above a pierced spindled backrest with U-shaped arm rest, over a saddle seat, raised on splayed legs joined by stretchers, with tipped feet.

Poor condition; commensurate with age and use, very decorative, woodworm, repairs and replacements throughout chair 1) lacking one spindle to upper tier of backrest; age cracks and repaired breaks to backrest, one armrest lacking scroll carving to support, age cracks to seat, feet pierced, back of backrest top now lacking 2) age cracks to backrest, repaired breaks to armrest supports, now lacking carving, age crack to seat, now with shim, feet pierced
