Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond Ring
Centering one cushion-shaped sapphire approximately 4.33 cts., flanked by 2 old European-cut diamonds approximately 1.30 cts., set within delicate scalloped diamond-set platinum, circa 1915. Size 5 1/4, with bumpers.

With AGL report no. 1084737 stating that the sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.

Sapphire: bright vivid very slightly violetish blue, good color concentration, slightly included, very light silk in one corner slightly visible to eye, nick on table edge, light abrasions on girdle edge, deep pavilion, very lively.

Old European-cut diamonds: J-K-VS.

Single-cut diamonds: H-I-J-mostly VS, several SI.

Good condition. Normal wear. Well-made. 1/2 x 13/16 inch.
