Large size Note, approximately 16.5 x 11.5 cm, ?2, currency no. 50/4943, dated 17th Day of July 1775, signed lower right by Phil. Johnson and John Tazewell, counter signed on the reverse by Robert Carter Nicholas, Treasurer, the Note has been folding both horizontally and vertically and shows evidence of strengthening, with some minor toning apparent, yet overall a spectacular piece in Very Fine condtion, Pick S3533, Friedberg VA 78b.
