1983 New York Islanders Stanley Cup Champions Ring
Gold ring produced by Balfour in 14 karat gold with four diamonds approximately 1.40 cts. signifying the four consecutive Championship wins obtained in 1980 to 1983. The Islanders are still the only United States team to achieve this milestone. The only other NHL team being the dynastic Montreal Canadians which has won twenty-four Cups. The ring has an oval design with the four diamonds set within and surrounded by nomenclature 1983 Stanley Cup Champions, the side panels show four Stanley Cup trophies with the New York Islanders engraved above, and the years 80, 81, 82, 83 below. The opposite panel is engraved with the Islanders logo and the recipient's name above and the letters VP below. Size 11 1/2 with original box.
