Additional Notes & Condition Report

A tazza by David King dated 1719 with the same arms was sold Sotheby's London, July 1970 and another tazza also by David King dated 1701 again with the same arms sold Christie's New York April 1996.

Marked to side of body; arms at centre with light wear; ever so slightly out of round; good gauge

It has been suggested that this bowl began life as a tazza and is now lacking the central foot and has been reworked. Buyers are urged to view the piece in person.
